Reverb
Reverb lists instruments and gear by make and model, and a listing without them cannot be published.
What Reverb checks
- Title optional
- Description recommended, 50 characters or more recommended
- Main photo required, 3 or more recommended
- Brand required
- Model or series name required
- Condition required
- Price required
- Color required when it applies
- SKU recommended
- Barcode (UPC/EAN) recommended
- Barcodes must have a valid check digit
- Quantity recommended
Good to know
- Make and model are required to save a draft; if Reverb cannot guess them the listing is set to Unknown and cannot be published, so always send structured make and model.
- Condition is sent as a UUID from /api/listing_conditions; Brand New is only for authorized dealers or handmade items, and B-Stock and Mint (with inventory) need account enablement.
- Photos must be original, show the whole item and any wear; screenshots, collages, added text or borders, placeholder images and people or pets are not allowed, and stock photos are for authorized dealers only.
- Create Shipping Profiles on Reverb.com (they cannot be created via API) and reference them with shipping_profile_id; up to two subcategories (or one root plus two subcategories) can be sent as category UUIDs.
